On July 30th, 2016, Oakland California's Mayor, Libby Schaff proclaimed July 30 to be So Oakland Day! This was a complete honor in receiving recognition for our continuing efforts to celebrate Oakland and our culture.  With that being said SoOakland brings the BayArea together to celebrate this by creating a Family Friendly Festival in Oakland.
